Sunne EdTech, a young start-up, emerged as the winner of the CHUNAUTI 2.0 Nextgen Start-up Challenge Contest under the Software Technology Parks of India's (STPI) Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS). The funding received from the contest was utilized to create SPEAKILI, a video-based spoken English course for students who use vernacular languages as their medium of instruction.
SPEAKILI was conceptualized and developed by English Language Teaching (ELT) professionals who have more than three decades of experience in teaching K-12 to tertiary-level students. The team also has extensive experience in creating instructional materials.
This ELT start-up is on a mission to redefine English Language Teaching by blending cutting-edge technology with pedagogical expertise, and SPEAKILI is a manifestation of that mission.
